This past year at the JCCH was inspired by ikigai いきがい, a Japanese concept that explores life's purpose, meaning, and value. Throughout the year, we encouraged our community members to explore their passions and discover their purpose through our educational and cultural opportunities. Here's a look back at the year! The JCCH shared history and cultural traditions at outreach events, as well as increased the number of JCCH-hosted workshops and programs. We worked together as a community to help Maui after the August 2023 wildfires. We made new connections while we continued to strengthen our existing relationships. Life at the Center bloomed this year! Our long-term vision is to offer educational opportunities across different generations from keiki to kūpuna. Please stay connected with us as we celebrate the evolving Hawaiʻi Japanese American experience! WEBSITE https://www.jcchawaii.org MOTTO Honoring our heritage. Embracing our diversity.
